can't remember where to find this one cartoon

Post by sweener2001 »

i know it was talked up here, that's how i found it.

anyway, it's a black and white cartoon made to look like a neo-geo era beat'em up game. i think that's description enough.

but here's some more. there are two protagonists trying to save some girl, and they fight an insane number of enemies, one of which is zombie babies. there are "boss fights" and special moves and everything.

i had it, deleted it for whatever reason, but now i want it again.

Damn, got beat to it by Grin. D:

It's awesome. Required viewing for everyone.

Btw, here's some more good stuff he did. Check the related videos too. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=wBi3Do9ATQA&NR=1

Also, this is apparently great too but I haven't finished downloading it yet: http://visublog.mechafetus.com/archives/385

Edit: well, it's certainly something to watch as well. Dare I say it might be better than Pirate Baby. And more random, if that were possible.

doubles

i enjoyed the kings of power video as well. although nero recode choked trying to turn it into an ipod viewable file. i had to go through some backwoods process using windows movie maker to change it into a wmv, and THEN an ipod viewable file. i suck at virtual dub, so all that did was churn out a 10 GB file that still shut down nero.

the quality suffered, and i was sad.

but still, really good videos.

EDIT: has he only made these two so far? i know there was some little flash cartoon, but has he only had two "productions?"

Yeah, I think so. It seems like a lot of work to make one though. He does have numerous shorter cartoons like the ones linked to, and a lot of small looping gifs of cool stuff (often used as material in the toons themselves).

I believe he works in the gaming industry, but prefers to keep that to himself.

Is another 11:00 minute production of his. It seems different than the rest of his style, though. Not as good compared to Pirate Baby and King of Power, that's for sure.

It actually has friggin' voiceovers.

It's just old. From 2001, apparently. Still awesome, haha, hadn't seen that one before.

Well he deserved it!
Watching Devil Eyes makes me sad. I don't know if it's supposed to, but it does.

Robertson is a fan of Guro, and I don't remember where I read he worked on Persona 3.

I was mousing over every PIES to see if there was a link hidden in there, but apparently Grin has simply gone crazy. D:
