Looking for wallpaper

^Pretty sweet looking box art - anyone seen the image itself in the wild?

I recommend that you use Gimp for image editing software. Adobe's products cost thousands in money and ask you to identify yourself to make sure you aren't a "pirate".

Use it if you want, but I personally wouldn't ever buy from a company like that. The gimp is available for everyone, while Adobe's products are only available to authorized individuals. That kind of practise is morally wrong.

Did he say anything about using PS?
Let Adobe be assholes if they want to and live with it, there are alternatives as you're pointing out yourself, no-one's forcing anyone to buy it.
Besides, I'd guess the typical user pirated it anyway :P

Isn't it like that for almost every computer commercial product out there? Companies need to make profit to stay alive.

I guess you shouldn't visit any websites with Flash...
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

He's asking for the cover art, not the product itself, I believe.

Ding ding, everyone else STFU. Especially you Franky. Read the fucking post before you respond to it like an asshole next time.

Also, call me when Gimp gets CMYK support. There's a reason Photoshop costs a lot of money - it's the best at what it does. There is no other option for a real graphic designer. And that's what Photoshop is for - for graphic design, not making lolcats.

It's not real CMYK (see here, or here for some good discussion on it). It is a dealbreaker for many people.

What widget theme is that? It looks cool.

On Topic: No, I haven't seen that in the wild but I'm sure Adobe had it made for them for the box art, anyway. So the best you'll get is finding a box scan, or just settling with a different wallpaper.

important for professional printing using that process - each layer (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) is printed separately, and needs to be provided that way.

I can't wait for gegl to be finished, and the new, improved GIMP to be released. :(

Also... maybe you could email Adobe for the image? Just a thought.
