I'll be getting a little 720p HDTV (just a 19" one, nothing fancy that I don't really need). Playing PS3 games on an SDTV via RGB SCART is ok, but it essentially sucks.

Oh, and I'm also visiting my grandmother during christmas. I always enjoy myself over there (some of my cousins live there too).

EDIT: Oh, and the best present I'm getting for christmas is time off from college. My break starts on the 19th december, and I go back on the 6th of January. Plenty of time to kill a few on GTA4.

Seriously, the episode previews are awesome, and they got scrapped when they rearranged the episodes.

I'm rethinking this more and more. Sharing would probably be hard... he travels a lot, while I stay at home a lot. Maybe we'll just get two laptops; at Newegg there's a decent laptop for $600. It comes with a discrete nVidia graphics processor.

The reason I even want a laptop at all is that I'm writing a novel. (A 17-year-old writing a novel is quite a "novel" idea, isn't it? Hahaha... inb4, "No it isn't. I wrote a novel when I was 14.") Getting a laptop by myself sounds like a good idea because I might start traveling more now that I'm mostly recovered from my mental illness. I'll probably make a post about my book and my mental illness... hm.

edit: Nah, I'm too paranoid about people stealing my "novel" book ideas... hahaha.
