Happy "Thanksgiving"

Post by snkcube »

Well, I think my "Thanksgiving" went well. I didn't eat ANY turkey what so ever. I also killed time watching Spiderman 2.

Better in October rather than in November here. That's because the fucking country is frozen solid by November every year and makes it a pain in the ass to do anything. That includes the simple task of buying a turkey because the car accident rate skyrockets in the winter and the traffic is packed. Everything outside is covered with snow and ice right now.

Our family at US wanted us to travel for Thanksgiving. But we couldn't, we eat turkey on Christmas anyway.

Who/What do you have then?

A dude named Alejandro with a handlebar mustache and a sombrero? Do you leave a couple of burritos and a bottle of tequila on the table for him?
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

That would be awesome. But no, It's custom in Mx. for kids to receive presents from the "three wise kings", the guys that visited Jesus when he was born. At least to the south of Mx.

To the north, we get Santa Claus. But we also get stuff from the Kings, another reason why the Norh > South.

Congrats on being a big fat mostachoed liar, as I got xmas presents by baby jesus/santa claus (the one giving the presents changed depending each fucking family) and even more by the wise men. I always put bowls full of water to feed their camels and elephants and shit. Santa/jesus didn't get crap though.

Southerns are not known for their "pasito duranguense", unlike those in the North

We also got the babes on bikinis dude.

The only thing we southerns lack is more wheat flour tortillas.

My girfriend is from the US, so she invited me to her Thanksgiving dinner.

I had never eaten Apple Pie... too sweet.
