Funny how everyone forgets most of the Dems voted for sending troops to Iraq, too. Sure, go ahead and blame Bush if you want. But you're going to have to blame most of Congress, Dems and Republicans, for going along with it.

Dude, If Bush hadn't asked Congress for permission for the Irak war, they wouldn't had to vote in the first place.

Yeah, and if Congress hadn't approved it (and overwhelmingly, I might add), there wouldn't have been a war.

And be labeled a hater of america for letting the terrorists win by doing nothing right after 9-11? I think there was a whole lot of pressure involved at that time, and Bush knew it.

if he could just admit that:

a. that he lied to start this invasion (remember the weapons of mass destruction?)
b. that he lied to make tons of money (remember the oil contracts years ago?)
c. he terrorized america into following him (remember the constant 'high terror alert' status color shit?)
d. there is no reason to be in iraq (unless you can give any reason at all)
e. he will never catch the guys that accomplished 911 (unless it was himself after all)
f. while playing in iraq he forgot about african americans (whoops katrina!)

then he could just resign with his billions of dollars (yes the bush family is a family of oil, and if you forgot our vice president was the CEO of the largest oil company in the world, or did you forget that to?) and let some other president come along and fix all the problems he's created. america would save hundreds of billions of dollars if we impeach him now instead of waiting for his tyranny to end. we've got the largest national debt in history because of him. isn't there something better you could do with 9 TRILLION DOLLARS than trash iraq? america could have solved world hunger for that amount of cash. wtf bush?

That's one of my biggest oppositions with this ridiculous war aside from all of the moral oppositions. The money. With the amount of money we've funneled into this war, we could solve or make better a whole hell of a lot of problems HERE.

Not that these are the best things to do with the money, but we have wasted so much damn money we could probably feed and buy a house for every single homeless person in America. The sheer amounts of money spent on the war is staggering. Spending hundreds of billions of dollars on improving quality of life here could result in some substantial changes.

That's what I want the tax money that *I* pay out of my check every week to go toward. I want it to go toward improving the quality of life in our country and not wasted on an un-winnable, unofficial war founded on a lie.
