Well duh. That's probably the best way to wake up. You need more practice to lessen the transition impact. And then start running. Or flying, whatever. The crazy shit comes completely by itself as you go.

I was actually surprised when I first heard that people have trouble staying asleep after realizing that they are dreaming. Half the dreams I remember are lucid dreams. Heck, a few times I've woken up and not been able to move. Scary the first time, just plain strange every time it happens now. I just think, "now I'll just sit u... hey, WTF?". The only thing I can move are my eyes, and they're hard to control because they're still moving randomly. It's really fucked up shit. I think I need to reinstall Microsoft Brain Stem (c). Then again, chances are that is the problem.
