usually the changes are pretty minor

for instance, the difference between Mortal Kombat II v 1.0 and 1.1 are the demo screen has actual fights in 1.1.

I know of a few bugs/tricks in DKC that work on version 1.0 and not on later revisions. I discovered this with actual cartridges before SNES emulation was playable. My friends copy of DKC that he got for Christmas in '94 was 1.1, and my copy that I got on the Nov 24 release date was 1.0

One of the bugs allows you to transform Winky/Expresso into Rambi. I discovered this on my own cart and was very disappointed when I couldn't prove it to my friends. It was so simple to reproduce at home, but it wouldn't work at their house!

I've never heard of this. Is it well documented? Do you have a zmv?

Another question about different versions:

The Fire Emblem 5 rom have 2 different versions:

Fire Emblem - Thraki 776 (J) (NP)
Fire Emblem - Thraki 776 (J) (V.ROM) -> what is the V.ROM code? :?:

Does anybody know the difference? :?
