Using pots in Zelda

Post by Uviol »

In Zelda: A Link To The Past, how do you use the pots to grab fairies? The normal action button that works activating other bag item functions does not work with bottles for some reason.

i think you have to use the net, and have empty bottles available.

it's been years, though.

And make sure you have at least one bottle on you before you get it.

After you rescue the princess, there's two bottles up for grabs in kakariko village: one on sale for 100 rupees, the other is in a treasure chest in the back entrance of the bar-like thing.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

I think this belongs in a different forum.

...but this is an awesome game. My 2nd favorite in the Zelda series.

I actually like Zelda IV Link's Awakening (Game Boy) the most by far.

the bug net can also be used in place of the master sword to deflect ganon's attacks back at him.

You can get the 100-rupee bottle from the Kakariko merchant for free if you carry a fish all the way back to him from the area where you drain the water to collect a heart piece.

For some reason, I think I had to wait until I had the Power Glove / gauntlet.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll corner the market on magic bottles.
