Assigning toggled features to gamepad buttons

Post by Poobah »

When something such as toggled fast forward/slowdown or rewind is assigned to a gamepad button, when the button is pressed ingame the option is repeatedly toggled on/off (or rewinds to the very beginning in the case of rewind) extremely quickly.

Not for me. Calibrate your gamepad, turn auto-fire off etc.

It's a feature. ^^;

It seems to depend on pads. Some do, some don't.

My advice: Disable "toggle ff/slowdown" if you're planning on binding them to a gamepad. Directly bind the FF and Slowdown buttons to your pad, and the slowdown/fastforward will last as long as you press the button.
Or enable 'toggle ff/sd' and bind the ff/sd keys to the keyboard.
Rewind should also be tied to a keyb key.
