Once nintendo has ascended in glory to the throne that was stripped from them so many years ago by vainglorious usurpers, they will once again rule over their rightful inheritance with a just hand, and with their newly forged ocarina, they will play their fair melody for everyone to hear forevermore.

i want to be as over the top as i can. it's kind of fun.

i WILL play FF3. and elite beat agents. with certainty.

There are quite a few games this coming season that I want. I may have to go back to full time to get them all.

I didn't respond to your first post, but this one is just so fucking stupid I felt compelled. The board doesn't need fanboys and mindless zealots.

so, douchebag. what part of that one phrase that i left didn't you get? aside from handhelds, i haven't owned a nintendo console since the snes. i'm hardly a fanboy. i mean, come on. i own an xbox. and around 30 legit games(impressive, considering i only work during the summer and have only owned it for just under 2 years). and a 360 controller for my pc. IF you wanted to infer my "fanboy-ness," it would be for microsoft. BUT WAIT! here i am plugging nintendo. hmmmmm. curiouser and curiouser. so, basically, i'm not a fanboy, moron.

HOWEVER, i am able to recognize that nintendo was once the video game king. i also recognize that the last two generations have been severely ignored by the mainstream gamer. and now it seems like nintendo can do nothing wrong.

so, if you could die now, i'd be much obliged.

anyway, i will own ffiii on day one, and i know my sister is going to buy elite beat agents. she loves music games. the mana game excites me, but i don't think i'll have the resources for it at launch.

other games intrigued me as well, like the cooking one, but again, resources.

Which of those games are you guys picking up on release? And by picking up I mean buying (some of you guys have flash carts and I don't have one yet damnit damnit damnit).

It's looking like I'll just be buying Contact, Yoshi's Island 2, and Final Fantasy 3. That is too many games already. And the Starsiege 2845 ATR is coming out in October as well.

My DS want list include:

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Megaman ZX (I loved the MMZ series)
FFIII
Children of Mana

With that alone the DS is a solid handheld platform expecially scince games like:

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
The New Super Mario Bros

toghether with awesome GBA games especially when:

FF5 Advanced
FF6 Advanced

are comming up, who would not buy a DS with money avaible?

I'm going to buy Final Fantasy III at some stage.

By the way, Harvest Moon will be coming out soon as well. It just did not make IGNs list for some reason.

The big game on my list is Children of Mana. Screw Final Fantasy 12. I won't be surprised if they push that game back when I'll have to be traveling around with a walking cane. I was really hyped about final fantasy 12 coming for the ps2, but for some reason I'm not anymore.
