Charging a Phone from USB

So I don't know if any of you can answer this, but what the hell. I recently acquired a Motorola V3 RAZR, and I was wondering if there's any other program besides Motorola Phone Tools I can use to charge it from a USB connection, like maybe a standalone driver or the like, the reason being that Motorola Phone Tools is a bloated piece of shit. Also along those lines, is there an alternative for transferring music and pictures to the phone as well?

Well I'm real heavy into modding the Razr , I myself have a V3 , but you dont have to run any programs to just have it charge

I do suggest motomodders (a website all about modding phones) if you want drivers for it , the drivers enable you to use P2K software which further allows you to manage files on the phone

Can make your Razr better in certain ways , if you have any locked features you can unlock them (some Razrs don't have video recording for example) , free up space by deleting files that arent needed (guide ofr this avaliable) , and if you don't like your theme you can change it , change the logo that appears on the outer LCD when you phone is open , even add fun lights

All you need to install to charge it is the modem driver from the P2K software.
