It is still likely cheaper than trying to buy the cart of ebay (after shipping).

well, its easy profit for the big N and many people who never got to experience these games will now have the chance to do so... VC is ok by me.

just use an emulator if it makes you feel all pissy

I would pay for it if it was a bit cheaper. $5 for a SNES game would be a more reasonable price.

Yeah man it's an outrage that great games are sold for money, when you can just steal them.

classic cop-out, while understandable, would you really buy them if they were five?

but i feel the same way about music. if new albums were sold for just under 10$, i would buy them all the time. but they're not, so i pirate. however, the shins' new one dropped today, and it WAS under 10$, so i did buy it.

in the heat of the moment, I couldn't help but click 'purchase'. in retrospect, I do question if it'd be cheaper to get an xbox with emuallsystems on it and play my roms, then buy them from nintendo. I haven't played snes9x on xbox, but I have a negative predisposition that it's still not as good as emulators on the wii. I wish they would impliment some sort of filtering on the image, it's extremely pixelated on a large tv at 480p.

True, but you're getting a physical, real object with that including potential box, instruction manual etc.

Nintendo is selling a virtual property of a 15 year old game that costs them next to nothing to make or distribute. I am of the school of the thought it's over priced, ESPECIALLY since I already own the original game and paid top dollar for it once already.

Nintendo ain't helping itself.

Those games should cost $1 or $2 at most, and they should release 'em by dozens... *sigh*

I finally got my Wii yesterday so I was thinking about buying a few VC games, but I have this game in so many different forms I am not sure that I am going to spend the money for it.I may be better off to get SUper Mario 64, which I only have in one form, and I have never been too much into the N64's sometimes complicated emulation.

Maybe I'll think about ti once I finally set my Wii up tonight.

I need to get some kind of wireless connection in my house. I've tried to use local connections, but they've either been locked or too weak a signal. Once I get online I'll probably buy this, just cause I love the game so much.

I bought 2000 wii points, so I've already paid Nintendo. I just don't think it's worth using $8 worth of points on a SNES game. I'll probably end up spending them on an N64 game.

It's just that many of these games have come out on GBA (and still are, see FFVI) with only minor changes, and those were sold at full price. Don't hear as much complaining about that. Hell, most original GBA games could be done on SNES and you pay full price for them.

I mean really, they are great games, especially LttP which I feel is better than most games today (the argument "it's only a SNES game" doesn't go), and they cost eight bucks. Just because you can steal them somewhere else for free doesn't make that wrong.

Has anyone ever bought points without buying a card? How is it done? I haven't looked yet, but I thought I remembered hearing it was possible.

You can do it with a credit card through the shop channel itself.

The WIi uses a seperate emulator for each game. Thats why they are so good at it.
