SUPER BOWL XLI

Post by Joe Camacho »

THE COLTS OWN SOO HARD!

Man, close to an hour before the super bowl and I don't have a place to watch it, or beer or snacks.

I better get moving!

Who cares? I know I have 10 bucks riding on the game with a chance to win 500, but somehow, I still don't care...

The Bears are so going to win.

I had plans to go over to my friend's house to watch it, but he's going elsewhere, so I'm watching it at home. It's damn cold outside anyways.

Congrats to the Colts, for facing possibly the worst QB in the NFC. The MVP better be one of the RBs from the Colts.

Bleh, never mind. That team really won't be the same next year.

PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYTON MANNING!

My chant during the game. Man, that was AWESOME.

So many fumbles, flags, interceptions, a lot better than last year.

Last years was slightly better, although the stupid questionable penalties hurt it a bit.

This one ended as soon as Grossman started throwing the "stupid ball" deep, like he has for most for this year. Then it became boring...

Hey hey. Last year 0wnd.

I'm happy for Tony. I'm not really a Payton Manning fan, though. He's overrated (though that's more on the Media for making him out to be the best player in the history of man than his fault) especially since he folds like an accordian when he faces the Steelers and other heavy-hitting defenses.

The Bears... Haha.
SHREIK!!!!!!! DDdddnnnnnnaaaa! GESTAHLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

I don't even understand why the Bears were so conservative defensively in that game. They are much better when aggressive. I see this is a QB mental breakdown+coaching not to lose.

The Bears... Haha.
Exactly.

Last year's Superbowl sucked. A lot of the calls were shitty and costed the Seahawks. However, this year's Superbowl was alright.

I was rooting for the Steelers, but I don't recall seeing a decent effort put up by them, with penalties and all. I'm not saying the penalties didn't influence the game.. but I didn't see enough effort.

Man, the Bears offence sucks hard. Good old Grossman screwed the Bears chances. All in all, it was a decent game, but by the 4th quarter it seemed pretty evident the Colts were in control. Personally, I didn't really care who won, but I expected the Colts to.

Next year, the Chargers will win it all.

Not while Marty is still running the show. By comparison, the Chargers lost because of stupid mistakes mostly on their end, especially coaching.

Actually, last year's Super Bowl DID suck. Neither team played well enough to actually deserve a victory. The Steelers just choked less.

I thought Prince put on a great show. He is truly a guitar god.

The lightning in the beginning of the half time show was pretty cool. And yeah, he really is a great guitar player.

Wait, he was actually playing the guitar? I could have sworn he wasn't.

prince performing @ the superbowl

let's ponder that

i've hated halftime shows ever since mtv was fired. i didn't even see "that" show anyway.

paul mccartney was gay, the rolling stones sucked, and now prince?

christina aguilera will be there in 3 year's time at this rate.

don't get me wrong, i respect all of those artists, but what they did is not what you want at a superbowl halftime show.

Prince wasn't bad. I was actually surprised. The Stones weren't bad last year either. I would rather have seen Billy Joel do the show, though.

And yes, I'm a little disappointed that the Bears didn't win, but they did have one hell of a season and you have to respect both teams for even making it to the Super Bowl.
