I do have a feeling it might be the most disappointing game since Daikatana. But hey, maybe Duke can still kick ass and chew bubblegum. I'd like to see this happen, but at this rate, it will be done when Starcraft 2 is out.... and perhaps Blizzard might pay the people off to include it somehow in the game's expansion... (sometimes, if you take enough time in a side project, people might just hire you.. there is no guarentee, but it has to do with the quality of work produced)lockharte wrote:i don't know how real is the starcraft 2 rumor, but there is a real project, rather, a mod of Warcraft 3 for Starcraft.

as much as people like WoW, I would rather them just make the next warcraft and starcraft. Also, why didn't Blizzard just make Starcraft GHOST themselves, it might have been good, and been released if they had, and would have built up popularity for the franchise even more (had they done it, and it been good).
Does anyone remember the ANCIENT concept behind World of Warcraft about the Orc raised by humans WAY before the plan for the MMORPG that we have today?
Tiberian Sun was also going to be a First Person Mech game once upon a time also... anyways back on topic...

Seriously, I love the RE games, I even have the idea of actually buying all the GC games, but the tank controls take a lot of time to get used to. And they can still use the RE4 control scheme and do a scary game.

seeing as the Resident Evil series goes back and forth, we probably won't receive a sequel for RE4 until RE6, so I'm not SUPER interested in RE5, I have to find out what happens with Leon, Ada, Wesker and the remaining plagas!
I want to see more Adventure games, I want to see a remake or sequel, or something in the vein of "The Dig" the game that had it's plot originally come from Speilburg, that was a gem, we need more like it.

Halo shines in multiplayer, specially if you gather enough people and equipment for system link.xamenus wrote:Halo 3 is pretty anticipated, no?
I think Halo 1 was slightly overrated, but it was still really good. Maybe if I had the Xbox version instead of the PC version it would be a little better.
I haven't played Halo 2 yet.
The rest of the game is forgettable.

Halo is like Mario Kart, overplayed, I think I'll have to take a 5 to 10 year break to enjoy it again, but I'll never get the rest I need with my friends playing it non-stop. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.

There was a WC adventure game (called WC Adventures: Lord of the Clans) that was intended to tell the tale of the rise of Thrall as the new Chieftain of the reformed Horde. The game was scrapped, in favor of Warcraft 3 and the concept was released in the form of a novel, with the same name.
WoW had nothing to do with it.
And yes, FO3 is a must, alongside Arcanum 2.
