Isolate sprite layer with a SNES emulator?

I remember being able to do this with zsnes when i had a pc, but i have a mac, now. I can't download it for some reason, can you do this with any other emulator? I want to export some of the sprites in snes games,

AFAIK, you should be able to do it in Snes9x as well.. but I cannot speak much for the Mac port.

Yeah i have SNES9x but i cant for the life of me find where to do it in the menu's or preferences... would save a lot of time in photoshop thats for sure...

Well, if any of the layer toggle options are available in the Mac port.. it should be 1-4 for the BG layers.. and 5 for the Sprite layer.

Also, keep in mind that Zsnes for mac is intended for the new Macbooks Macbook Pros. It won't work with G4 or G5 units, unless you get a Windows Emulator and Zsnes for windows.

Help->Snes9x Help->Controllers support.

It all is mentioned there. In order to disable/enable layers [Fn+F1-F5],
where 'Fn' would be a '/' if you're on an English/US keyboard, or the
button for dash/underscore for a lot of Euro keyboards.
