ZSNES Cheat Help

Post by cibomatto2002 »

When I make a Super Jump code like in Super Metroid . I can not control how High she jumps so what i'm asking is how can I make a code to control her jump I would like to set it to the jump button.

Heres the code for her to moon jump 7E0B2DFF

Back in the day when game shark pro was out i could make them by making joker codes !:)

DeFender1031:
During the game logo screen when it first boots up, enter:
Down R Up L Y B X A on controller 2
Then on controller one:
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Select.
Press Start to begin the game.

In game, press Down, Down/Right, Right+Y to Hadouken.

If you want a Shoryuken, press Right, Down, Down/Right + Y.

Edit:
Switch Right for Left if you're facing the other way.

You need to make better coherent sentences than that. "Setting the code to the jump button" is complete moonspeak jibberish.

First off, learn how Pro Action Replay codes work.. then you will have the proper insight to modifying said code.

This is judging by the code.

Congrats, yet I found the code at some obscure website on a quick check.

finding your own cheat codes easilly (using zsnes cheat finder) is only really good for values that change, such as health, level etc. if you want to change how high samus jumps, that is hard coded into the game, you need to disassemble the code and find it there. you might have luck maybe comparing the value before you have the high jump boots, and after, but that is probably just a bit that toggles weather she can jump normal, or high.

what do those codes do, I can't read gibberish! I actually did try the code he mentioned and was shocked, usually homemade moon jump codes are all jittery and crap. that code seems to modify a value I'd assume was a 'time since you jumped" that would count down. keep it full and you can fly. then I searched for a code to be able to keep flying at any time (like space jump but with no special timing required) but didn't find it after a few minutes.

I don't know the GoldFinger format, but even GG codes are saved as PAR(wram) codes, so yes, you used a Pro Action Replay. That's why one assumed it was PAR.
