I just beat Crystal Chronicles... and that fucking final boss is a nuisance. He takes FOREVER to die. And don't get me started about those final sequences.

Meh.
If you're purposefully underpowered, don't complain about the time it takes. :p
If you're not, you're doing it wrong. Didn't use the ultimate magicite it drops ? Makes the fight a cakewalk.

The last boss itself takes ~5 minutes. The door stuff takes about 10 minutes if you don't suck (how is it hard to reread your logbook before tackling it, ey ?). The meteor parasite takes about 10 minutes all phases combined with any decent endgame physical attack. The stage itself is 15 more minutes.

For a total around 40 minutes, which is very healthy for a "last stage + last boss".

I was checking Gamefaqs to see what I missed, and wow, everyone gets there with 60+ stats... I got there with a Selkie who's highest stat was magic at 34, and the rest where under 30. I had 5 hearts and everytime the eye made the main attack, it took away 4 1/2. I ran out of memories quickly because I actually didn't know that the higher part was the one to attack. This game isn't that obvious...

Finished the last bosses in FFX, and I have to say that they really didn't expect you to do any side quests before going after them, especially not ultimate weapons. But, then again, Sefiroth's pretty trivial with Knights of the Round... I still need to do the monster arena, so I guess I'm not that done.

Instead, I'm playing Dragon Quest VIII

I got really dissapointed with the ending bosses on FFX... the fact that you CAN'T DIE makes a little bit too easy.

Mario Sunshine takes up most of my time right now. I really like it, Mario suddenly feels more ninja-like than in Mario 64.

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. Love it, but the difficulty rises fairly quickly.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

I've always hated Sunshine for some reason. Maybe it's the camera or the retarded water pack. I'm hoping Galaxy will rock.

That's why we have the classic "blues themed" zones.

Sunshine is good, could have used a little more of this or that but the bonus levels totally kicked your ass and the last bowser fight was less of a joke than in SM64 (not by much, but an improvement)

I still say you have to get all the shines before really begrudging the game (a lot of people play like two levels and make a judgement) I gotta say though that game was loaded with special effects from the water to the sun shining in the mirror etc.
Seriously, what kind of asshole makes an old-school 2D emulator that requires a Core 2 to get full speed? >:(
The yoshi thing was kinda annoying... but the game was good once you get used to the water pack , once you get the jetpack or the booster its get interesting

Sunshine really is a good game, none of us can say it isn't, but there was something about it that I couldn't really play. I mean the playing style and all of that is cool, but I guess the whole water thing I didn't like.

I'm still trying to acquire 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy. So far, the game is a blast.

Got done beating the final bosses in Graffiti Kingdom. With the help of a really lame rapid-reload lightning weapon attack.
If only they messed with different gravity in some of the worlds. Which leads me to...

I'am at 115 stars in Super Mario Galaxy.

StarFox Assault: Finished all missions on gold, silver and bronze. Still missing survival and getting some flags.
After this one, it's Galaxy time.

Valkyrie Profile 2, just started Valhalla. My dudes are very overpowered at the moment, I think. Alicia and Rufus are practically invincible. I kept using plot characters (Dylan/Lezard), so I had to train some weak Einherjar with no skills and poor levels by the time most of the plot characters left. Luckily, there was this easy to kill monster in Yggdrasil that gave a ton of skill points which I killed over and over.
