Smallest Standalone C++ IDE?

Post by corronchilejano »

So, which one is it? Borland Turbo C++ 3.0? if it could fit in a 3 1/2 disk, that'd be great. It also needs to include compiler/linker, etc.

Ok, 1.38mb and going down if it's possible, if not, just the smallest I can get. RHIDE is a bit too big, including DJGPP in there.

No, I just need something I can run without a previous instalation and can copy in a minute flash drive (in both size and dimensions) I have. It's only got 16MB. The compiler could just be for DOS or Win32 or both.

When I meant standalone, I precisely meant something that requires no installation at all, no registry modification or anything that needs to run on machine startup. Something I download and run just like that, it doesn't matter if it only makes DOS execs.

Currently I use RHIDE with DJGPP, but I had to cripple a lot of things in order to make it fit, so I was looking for other options.
