Let me check that out; I'll remove them from the playlist and then re-upload them and see what happens. Maybe then I'll upload them...
Edit 8:29AM - weird. when I upload them, all the files are named "()" and have 0:00, but they work fine. Why do they display like that!?
Edit 8:35AM - Seems I have to rate all the files to "*****" and then they display. Why? Oh, and excellent work, BTW; sounds like the real hardware!

I strongly, strongly suspect that there's no titling fallback in case no tags were found on the files.
I was just gonna say, I think this should be implemented if at all possible.
By any chance, could the .RSN filetype be implemented, or is the source for that not available? In case you don't know, it's basically a whole SPC album list in one file.
---
What I'm betting is going on is that:
A) This plugin is using a tagging setup nobody else is using.
OR
B) The sets I have have messed tags.

"In case you don't know", it's just a solid RAR archive, durr.Metatron wrote:By any chance, could the .RSN filetype be implemented, or is the source for that not available? In case you don't know, it's basically a whole SPC album list in one file.

Anyhow, it turns out that B was the correct answer. Neo, your SPCs have messed up tags/no tags. There's no fallback to use the filename as the song title if no tags are present.
If I may make a request, I think it'd be spiffy to make a custom formatting field option available if you could, mudlord. I don't think this plugin works with Winamp's default title formatter. I'm an odd one who doesn't like artist names on his music playlists. Even if it is God Soule.

Thank blargg for that. He is the one that made the cycle accurate SPC emulation core.BTW; sounds like the real hardware!
Because I didn't add custom file tag reading support yet, the plugin expects a default set of tags.weird. when I upload them, all the files are named "()" and have 0:00, but they work fine. Why do they display like that!?
I found some code that makes unrar.dll obsolete. Funnily enough, its another of blargg's libraries. And it also has Zip/7-Zip support, too....Why would they want to include unrar.dll? Eh.
When I do the config options, I'll see what I can do.If I may make a request, I think it'd be spiffy to make a custom formatting field option available if you could, mudlord. I don't think this plugin works with Winamp's default title formatter.
already reported that on the last page. I also realized that rsn files crashed winamp, but realized this pretty much straight awayMetatron wrote:Anyhow, it turns out that B was the correct answer. Can you please elaborate for what exactly you mean? After you get feature parity, might I recommend a box for View Menu?
Fixed for next beta. Songs that have continuous loops, like NSFs, will loop for exactly 3 minutes, while others abide by the tags.Song loops forever (ignoring the time specified in the ID666 tag)

Much easier than timing/tagging every track manually.

I hope you're using GME's built-in silence detection, which looks ahead for silence (up to 20 seconds for GBS), avoiding either a long pause at the end, or cutting songs off too early by only waiting for 2 seconds of silence (which several songs have). Just use gme_track_ended() to tell when a track has ended naturally or due to detection of silence.[Added] automatic subsong track end detection of silence in subsong based formats. The player will then move to the next subsong if silence occurs for around 2 seconds.
