savestates

Post by goombapatrol »

the .zst files are the savestates, correct?
i was just wondering if it was possible to take a snes9x savestate and convert it into a .zst ?

i recently started using zsnes, and wanted to bring over all my savestates from the really hard super mario rom hacks (i'm doing intrigue atm- such a great hack!)

is this possible? (i read the docs and didn't see this listed there)

-thanks-

I'm sorry, but it's not possible to convert savestates between emulators. The savestates contain emulator-specific information, not convertable at this moment or the foreseeable future.

You'll have to have in-game saves if you can (don't think a hack would...).

meh, okay. i'll probably just use snes9x for that game then.
thanks anyways :)

edit: i think i figured my own problem out anyways.
i cannot move the savestates, but i CAN move the .srm files (the saved data, right?).
that'll have to do.
