Hi.
I got a media center PC with HDMI and a samsung LE40A656 LCD TV allso with HDMI. When i play zsnes over my media center's HDMI port theres no sound. If i connect to the DVI port and use analog sound (minijack - phono) the sound works!
Why is this. Is there any changes i have to make in the config file?

It's been less than an hour, be patient.

I don't know the answer, but the sound is always routed through the same way all apps are routed though, which is the default output.

do your other applications provide audio over HDMI? does your computer even have that capability? (what video card or onboard graphics do you have?)
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

You need to set the default sound device to use HDMI, but that's if your hardware supports audio over HDMI.
Since I don't know what OS you are running, look up how to change the default sound device in the Help and Support options.

All I can think of is to make sure "Digital Output Only" is enabled on your sound card.

have you disabled the analog audio device in device manager?

Setting the HDMI device as default in the Playback Device list should have been able to route all sounds to it.
