is it suppose to look like this in HQ4X ?

Video Card: 9800GX2
CPU: QX9650
Resolution : 1280 x 1024 DS F with HQ4X and Vsync ON

Graphics errors have nothing to do with the filter involved.

It would've been nice if there was a link to the image (or a thumbnail) posted instead of a direct link.

i changed it and also what u mean by graphic errors.. with the kind of processor and video card i have it should be MORE beautiful than this

Your CPU and video card have no effect on what a filter will look like.

Try other filters.

There's only so much you can do with a filter, though.

There is no best filter, really. They do too different things to the image. Hell, there's a filter that emulates old TVs(The NTSC filter).

Only way to find a "best" filter is to try them all yourself.

Personally, I play either without filters or with the NTSC filter.

no, the HQxx series is to give you a larger image that isn't wholly blurry, pixellated, or washed out.

there really isn't much you can do to make it look better.

That reminds me of that Kirby Super Star remake Nintendo's doing for the DS. It'll be out soon. Not many games tempt me to outright pirate them, but that one does...

You do know that this is an emulator, emulating a SNES, right? Sounds like you're missing something.

Nah, he's just a newbie(Not ot be confused with n00b in this case, to head off any insults). He doesn't know any better. Most of us didn't when we got started. As he gets more experienced with emulators, he'll learn.

It's how most of us learned, after all.

Might as well remind the original poster..

The original image is relatively low res. Whatever done to manipulating the image to "look better" can only go so far.
