Free Linux and Mac stuff w/ 1yr support from CodeWeavers

Post by AamirM »

Hi,

In case somebody didn't noticed, CodeWeavers is giving away their products along with one year of full support for free. Just go to http://lameduck.codeweavers.com/free/.

stay safe,

If I register mine in Hardy, then start fresh for intrepid, will I be able to use it again? I don't know if they'll bug out at me for using my serial number twice.
I bring the trouble.

Almost all of the programs I use on Windows are available (natively) for Linux. The only programs I use on Windows that are not available for linux, are ones that I don't need on Linux. This includes; ccleaner, diskeeper, and spybot search-destroy.

Even if it's free, I think I'll pass on this one.

Franky, no offense, but you have to be the most egocentric person I have ever encountered. I do not believe people are interested in your opinion on topics that are meant to be purely informative.

Ok. I like to express my opinion. Oh, and no offense taken.

I've never really had much luck with crossover office compared to vanilla Wine as far as paying for something goes. Wine alone is pretty capable, nowadays, and a lot of patches from crossover make it in to Wine. It's Cedega that doesn't submit patches, I hear.

Crossover is wine with more automatic shortcuts and seperate wine installations called containers.

But I like it. And Wine.

And Cedega is full of crap. Urgh.
But supposedly the company is making a big breakthrough in pixel shaders and crap or WHATEVER NO ONE CARES ABOUT THEM

Also leave Franky alone, he can't help it that he's Franky.
Though a shovel to the head could fix that, iykwim.

If I posted like Franky:

The Mother 3 translation thread would be in flame war state.

Well, no. I am perfectly fine with the GPL, but then I also agree with the BSDL, and lots of other licenses. Give me OpenBSD and I'll quite happily use it anyday ( in fact, I DO use it on another machine :D )
