I haven't installed those drivers yet.

These are much more stable than the WDDM driver included.

It's there. It might be the WDDM driver not letting you use it. Also, glad you like CCleaner.

Glad that Windows 7 has classic mode in it. But...still...I don't want to move from XP for quite some time.

Yea classic mode is there, you just need some hacks/tweaks to enable it in this beta because Microsoft are focusing feedback on the new features.

Cool snkcube, I was also curious about the Flip3D, I'm using the 181 WHQL drivers.

Lol, the left frame in Windows Explorer fails... it needs smooth scrolling like the right frame. increasing scroll speed so things scroll at a decent speed with the mouse wheel means that a single click on the left frame moves like 100 rows.

That's what the feedback option is for.

Just tried the latest 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 and they do have OpenGL support.
(~120 extensions / 68% of OpenGL 3.0 supported)

It's was a bitch getting them to work with the HD3850 AGP.
The installer doesn't detect the card / install the drivers even after you mod them.
I managed to install the driver (a modded inf, hacked .dll and manual installation did the trick),but I still can't install that f***** Catalyst Control Center.Any ideas?

I need some sort of second taskbar. Ultramon doesn't work - anyone have any suggestions? Is there a way to create a second taskbar out of like a folder or something like use used to be able to do in XP?

Really... wonder what explains Dolphins OGL plugin to fail then.

Install this useful little app and see if it passes all the tests. You can also try the Quake 4 demo and see if OpenGL is really working.

What happened to the Direct3D 'spinning box' and audio tests in DXDiag? Is there any way to get them back? They were removed from Vista as well.

Been using win 7 now for a few days. I never had the key issue, must have grabbed it after the rush. ISO took me all of 20 minutes to download. Its scary how well it runs on my Acer Aspire One. Damned little netbook has a single core 1.6 ghz atom cpu and it still manages quite well. Also having only 1 gig of ram dont seem to snag it.

When my big ass Compaq had vista home premium with sp1 loaded it originally had 1 gig ram and its usage was always at 80 without any apps loaded. (Prolly hp bloat)

I am tempted to overwrite my Vista Business install, on my gaming system to try it there, but don't have nearly enough drive space for backups.

Why is this all sounding like Vista v2?

It seemed like the whole 9x to XP type of deal, except that XP was really 2k v2.

For the same reason - except instead of going from 5.0 to 5.1, we're going from 6.0 to 6.1.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

- I got a folder on my desktop, it has no name, it does not do anything when double clicked... :(

- Can't surf the internet while downloading updates from Windows Update.

- AVG 8 is slow as all hell at scanning things... makes the realtime scanner a pain in the ass. performance problem could be derived from the Beta O/S.

- Make MSN Messenger Contact List fill 50% of the screen by dragging to the left or right then minimize it by clicking the X, now restore it and it is back to what it was BEFORE you made it fill 50%.

- Can't burn ISO's need to use Nero for it.

- Explorer.exe can interfere with games, namely Worms Armageddon. (must close all Explorer instances, I have a batch file that does this + restarts Explorer once the game is closed)

- 30%~ of 2gigs RAM used while on the desktop. Superfetch doesn't affect this.

- Numerous places lack Mouse Wheel Scrolling and smooth scrolling.

- Windows Explorer STILL does not apply folder settings to ALL folders when I tell it to. Music folders still use the Artist, Album, Genre etc. columns.

most/all already reported to MS.
