Some guy's been spamming about a post supposedly signed by byuu about leaking a CD for some band. He included a screenshot in his message and was calling byuu names and saying he was going to report his website.
(in the post, 'byuu' was taunting the band and saying he would host the CD at his website, to which the poster included a link)
Looks like someone named philly13s was accusing someone named 'byuu' for leaking some music CD.
Obviously a case of mistaken identity, because I have no idea who the hell this band is. And even if I were into leaking unsigned band CDs, I only have ~5MB web storage space anyway.
They sure have some crazy followers, though. I had seven PMs, but didn't get a chance to read them. Seems I missed all the fun.
I took the liberty of looking up information about the band here. I'll dig in my cache to see if I can find the image that was being posted about you that was in the forum PMs being sent. Fucked up shit.
EDIT: I found the image and my cache and reuploaded it here. Who ever did it was trying to attack you byuu. Not sure what the forum PM messages said-I didn't look at them long before deleting them.
I knew a guy like that in the past. After getting banned from a chat room, he wrote a script to spam every other channel with derogatory messages, hoping to provoke their members to troll / attack / DDoS ours. He kept at it for nearly two years, too.
Once it reaches this point, you stop feeling angry or upset about it. Instead you just feel really sad for the person doing it.
Seriously, whoever this is ... by keeping at this, you're only giving my work added publicity. Not sure what I did, but there's nothing healthy about taking the internet so seriously. If you want to let me know who you are, I can perhaps offer an apology for however I've wronged you, and we can let this go.

Sure, I somewhat dislike some people here, but I will not go that far to pull off a scam like this. Thats just taking things too far. Why I would do it to a place/someone that I want to completely avoid and put in the past is beyond me.

Ahh this explains why I got notified of a PM that seemed to have been deleted from my inbox before I could read it.
Anyway, this reminds me of an even more vindictive attack against me many years ago. I was a regular on the "X-band" modem for the SNES, and even got some fame for winning a few contests where I beat the tar out of the editor for EGM at a game of MKII (I played Liu Kang and he played Raiden). I would later get my ass handed to me by Anton Lee in another contest on Killer Instinct.
Anyway, a few of us regulars started the first blog-style post updated every day on our profile accounts. I forget how it started, but I got into a flame war with some asshat named "Red Feul Deluxe". When name calling wasn't enough, he resorted to mail-bombing me. Then when he got suspended for a week from doing that, he switched to using a German-based email missile web site. X-band couldn't do anything about outside bombings from the internet, so I traced the bomb attack and then gave him a dose of his own medicine. I figured that would be the end of it... But then it gets scary. This guy was so hell-bent on trying to win some sort of net-war that he resorted to illegal activities. What he did was start placing ads selling child pornography in my name all over various chat rooms/boards. I started getting very creepy emails from "interested" customers and eventually realised that undercover police were trying to set up a sting on me. I very sternly explained I was not selling such videos and informed them what had lead up to these events. The creepy emails stopped after that, and I later heard the person responsible for setting me up was some little punkass kid that I couldn't press charges against. Such is the law...

I never said it was you. I do know who dislikes me, but I don't know exactly who did this, and I'm not publicly accusing anyone without any proof.

And this is why these days parenting has gotten to the point where many "bad" parents pop up and they get a lot more rights, people.

There's a name I haven't heard in awhile. He hacked my posts one time so everyone thought I was spamming the board (except Bad Insults/EvanG). I would write a post to explain it wasn't me and it would be changed 30 seconds later. Soon after that the board was down for about a month That has to have been at least 6-7 years ago now... I just started Winamp, reloaded the 525.com shoutcast, and what's the very first song playing? Hurt - Rapture Vol 1. Guess I'll have to go find that leaked CD :P
Not bad, actually. I'd still take All that Remains or old-school In Flames anyday though.
I actually found all their albums on their Myspace page. Not bad at all indeed. Rapture, Ten Ton Brick, Thank You For Listening and Wars are good songs. Alone With The Sea is the song I really like right now. =P
