RE4 no contest, best turn the series has taken, RE5 seems ok, but stale compared to how fresh and amazing RE4 was on Gamecube launch day.

Why not 2? Re2 is bloody awesome, but not awesome enough to be a favourite.
I wish I could put the GC remake of re1 on this list, but alas I've enver played it. I shall be fixing that error in the future, however.

I should mention that of these favourites, RE3, RE4 and RE UC are the ones I like the most.

Also, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are the xxxxxx.

Giant worms (that also appear later on in re3) with many people-killing mouths are uber-cool. CVX is not a favourite, and it's not bloody awesome, it's just normal awesome. I do like it, and also own a copy of it, but it's not the best.

Co-op in RE5 is pretty fun. Besides that, I do have similar concerns for RE5.

Anyway, my favorite RE games are RE4 and REmake.

They moved all their talent to Clover Studio to get them out from under the board's constant bitching so they could make good games instead of arguing over bullet lists and fighting about customer surveys that said stupid things like "we want circle-strafing in Resident Evil."

Then the board started demanding more creative control in Clover games, and everyone left.

Then Capcom closed Clover.

Jesus christ I had no idea that happened.

Edit: Also, only good RE is RE4.
