I'm useing the zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) emulator and the IPS.exe gotten from the bahamut lagoon shrine anyway i tried both of the translation patches and neither one works. please help

soft patch it

name ips file the same as ROM file

i.e.

bl.smc
bl.ips

then run zsnes, it's patched automatically.

i got the bahamut lagoon rom, in japanese

i got the english translation by tomato and dejap

i soft patched the rom and it works fine.......most the time

sometimes, more often farther in the game, the whole screen goes crazy makin playing the game rediculously blind

after a battle the screen goes back to normal, for a little bit

please help

chksm was ok before i patched.....it now fails
I was told this was normal

and all I have to do to fix that is puch esc. twice, and when it goes back into it it will be fixed.

Jue: I'm pretty sure your problem is one of those crazy dumps with hacked checksums. Have NSRT scan it to tell you exactly whether or not it's a good dump.
