isn't NSRT itself closed source and ZSNES open source? :?
Yes, for the time being anyway.
adventure_of_link wrote: that said, how's NSRT coming along Nach?
The new website is almost ready. NSRT 4 rewrite is 20% done.

Nach: Awesome on both accounts. Looking forward to it greatly.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Many new features I wanted to add need the rewrite.

do we get any clues, or do we have to just wait with bated breath? ;)

i was also under the impression that nsrt development had seemed to stop because it was "done."

...

sorry if this is a repeated question, but is the-emulator-formerly-known-as-ZSNES 2.0 codebase going to be 100% C, or will there still be chunks of ASM for speed/sanity-preserving purposes?
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

You wait.

Ever noticed when I post NSRT info it says 3.5, but the last released version is 3.4?

Well, we're eliminating a lot of assembly. We're even in some cases focusing on making some code Endian Independent. So we'll see.

FORTRAN sadly doesn't support "CODE DOESN'T SUCK", an important define needed to empower the voodoo.

And here I was thinking more along the line of BASIC.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Ugh, zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) is as dead as a camal lying dead in the sun with vultures flying over it. It still plays your snes games, though.
