ZSNES Ported to Java

Post by davideo7 »

Has anyone ever considered doing this? And is it possible?

I know there are online emulators for other systems like NES, GBC, Sega Genesis, etc but no Super Nintendo

I'm considering this but it wouldn't be me but rather someone I'd pay to do it. I'm thinking about paying someone $500 to port it to Java and to make it so that it can be playable in the web browser on a website.

If anyone knows of a project for porting this to java or if anyone is interested i helping me out, please let me know.

All of the x86 assembly code must be ported to a higher level language to begin with.

I'd say Snes9x would be a more likely candidate, being mostly C/C++ already, but it would probably be best to just start from scratch.

I'd advise increasing your offer by maybe 10-20x.

Didn't know we were talking about such a big and possibly impossible task.

Is Snes9x even open source?

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
