playing darwinia. interesting skill-strategy game. It was pretty much free, until steam bought it, gave it really irritating graphics, and jacked up the price $20 or so. I would suggest getting an old torrent of the game. The new graphics mess up my computer bad.
Quite fun, and very good use of simple graphics. Hate those damn spiders though, takes like three grenades to kill those suckers, and you gotta hope that your own grenades don't kill your guys.

-snip-

You may want to get a manual online.

Edit: No warez torrents, k?

Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

55 hours and I'm at Chapter 3 with my characters around Level 28. Just shows how much times it takes to be adventurous and try to find as many Einherjar as possible and then make them fight, only to release them at the designated time and reap the rewards.

Hmm.. I don't think I have ever heard of this one...

Me either.

I was looking at this:
http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/viewtopic ... &start=225

Running Devil Crash ... never heard of it. Not in any PCE sets I could find. So I thought maybe it was listed in Japanese, checked "Nigeru Debiru Kurashu" ... nope. But Neutopia ... that sounds kind of like Nestopia. Screenshot looked neat so I played them both :)

Quite fun, but by the time you finish the second you will be damn tired of the game. And you may as well use an FAQ. There's no way to know which walls to bomb, but you have to bomb like 300 of them per game, and enemies hardly ever give you them.

Try Devil's Crush. That's the US name.

Ah, there it is, thanks. Sadly, not at all what I was hoping. Wanted a game where there were levels and you could kill things for good. That was just a single level with repeating bonus stages and the only goal of getting 999,999,990 points to win. Still kinda fun I guess.

BTW, great cheat code:

Try it yourself if you think it's fake :P

Nanostray 2
Liking it so far.

Are there any more decent shmups (shooters whatevarz) for the DS? The only other games I've seen that even classify as that are Bangai-O Spirits and Nanostray.

Ah, forgot about that one.

I know the game works with that add-on paddle they released in Japan. I hear the game plays much better with it.

SIExtreme is compatible with the Arkanoid DS paddle... though you'll have to import one.

...

I can't say it was a wise purchase, what with touch screen control being more than adequate for Arkanoid DS... and Arkanoid DS kind of sucking. :(

How well does SIE control with it though?
