Secret of Evermore problem

Post by XarBat »

I am playing Secret of Evermore with FuSoYa's 2-player patch, and can't get the dog to jump across the bridge in the second world. Is there some way I can get the dog across the bridge (like no-clipping)?

Moving thread because it has nothing to do with ZSNES. IIRC, "attacking" allows you to jump over the bridge (since the act of attacking is jumping into the enemy).

I have tried that. I heard somewhere that the 2-player patch makes it so the dog can't jump to the other side of the bridge, and I would like to know if there is any way I can no-clip across.

you could always try loading the same battery save in the unpatched game, crossing the bridge, saving, and then reloading in the patched game.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

I just assumed that would not work because the game was patched, and I heard other people talking about no clipping. Didn't even need the battery save, the save state worked. Is this the only area of the game that the dog has to jump?

The game glitched out and now the dog is stuck on top of the great pyramid and can't get down the stairs. I really need to no clip. How do I do it.

Google for codes?

Seriously how hard could it be?

I was able to complete the game using the two player patch. There were a few tricky spots, and that was one of them. Going back to 1 player and/or witching back and forth between the characters typically resolved many things.
