Toy Story 3

Post by odditude »

...was utterly fantastic. i feel sorry for anyone who doesn't watch Pixar movies because "they're cartoons."

for the record, it's worth seeing it in 3d, although your wallet will feel even more anally violated than usual for a visit to the movies.

The lowest pixar went so far was "only midly more entertaining than average". It's not exactly a headbanger to go and watch der stuffs.

I hope to see it some time. I probably won't see it in 3D though since those effects never really work for me and just strain my eyes, though.

I liked 1. The graphics are simple compared to modern movies but it still looks good and definitely good as a movie as far as being enjoyable to watch.

2, I don't remember... at all. I know I saw it, but I have no idea what happened or what it's about.

woody is a highly valued collectible figurine, so he gets stoeled by a fan who spots him in a garage sale

he (woody) meets the other cast from his own show, they are friendly and he likes the attention

buzz leads the rescue team to track him down

ultimately woody prefers his previous owner to fame and glitter, which makes an old doll go yandere on him

suddenly, more awesome

go rewatch it

I'm sure whoever first came up with the idea of talking toys was on drugs at the time.

I think I need to go watch this movie again as well.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

The idea of talking toys probably grew from "hey, it's easy to render realistic looking plastic?".
I'm going to need to see this at some point.

Yeah. Imagination's a hell of a thing.

And Wall-E is the best Pixar movie to date. Just FYI.

I will watch Toy Story 3 as soon as possible. I think Up is one of their best. Wall-E is not bad at all too.
