shame doesn't even cover half of the creepy shit that is french in games

there are things that just don't fit

you don't bring a knife to a gunfight, you don't walk naked in alaska, you don't use french in video games.

The only use of french in games that doesn't make the whole game a cringe marathon is when there's ONE character speaking it, the butt monkey. Bonus points if you can kill him dead after 10 minutes.
Every ten minutes.

Mid-boss is a good example.

From my biased yet extensive experience - having played both english and french versions of many games up to the ps1 - even the most entertaining, the most incredibly fun game becomes a fucking hellish experience as soon as text is in french.
I'd rant more but then I'd have to fucking write in it, and you don't need that sort of trauma.

In addition to the games I already listed, I've been playing Metal Gear Solid 3 for PS2. Let me say, so far it's tested my patience with the whole gotta sneak around things thing.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

I also have SFIV for PC, but I don't really play it that often. My GFWL ID is also the same as my screen name.

I got through the "first" ending of DQ9 last night. 67 hours in, I was overleveled.

Playing Zoop today. Terrible puzzle game that does not work well with a D-pad.

Gunblade. Took fifteen years, but Sega finally gave it a home version.

I've been playing The Second Reality Project 2, a decent Super Mario World hack. The level design isn't perfect (I am currently stuck in the second level where there is a tough jump to make over a pillar when you are on a log raft), but it is better than most SMW hacks.

Pokemon Sapphire
Pokemon FireRed

Beat FFX about a week or so ago, and I just picked up Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 for myself, so now I'll be tearing into that as well. :D

I think it's stupid that they won't let you continue where you left off. Luckily GoW 2 is much nicer about it.
