.IPS files on ZSNES?

Okay, so I already know you can't play .NES files on ZSNES. But can you play .IPS files on there? If so, I'll need very detailed and clear directions on how to do that. (ie. so simple, even a child could follow along)

ZSNES doesn't play .NES files nor .IPS files. ZSNES can make use of .IPS files, though.

IPS files are patch files.

So you need a ROM image of the game the patch is for to play the patched game.
