run NSRT to see if it's a good ROM, and use latest WIP, try that first.

explanation for newbie?

Post by samsung222 »

This problem came up this morning on my computer... the frusterating thing about it is last night it was fine..... i'm sure its not the game due to its perfect functioning last night. What could have changed in 12 hours that the program was down?

Perplexed i am.

Appreciate the advice and will try.

Has your Pc been on all this time? Try rebooting.

Do what Paul told you to, just in case.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Give us the rom's checksum, I would like to note that NSRT is a tool to examine the rom and modify it, using NSRT won't magically repair the rom, we need the checksum, if it is "failed" you should get another rom.

Tried Rebooting? Also, try deleting zsnes .cfg files.

that means the problem isn't the ROM, try the newest WIP, if it doesn't work dry deleting the .cfg file

That actually depends on the ROM and what options you pass it. In quite a few cases, NSRT can repair your ROM saving you from having to find it and redownload it.
May 9 2007 - NSRT 3.4, now with lots of hashing and even more accurate information! Go download it.

Oh yeah, I'm aware of that, but he gave me the impression that he just scanned it without using any utilities, like adding a header or such.
