Seiken densetsu 3 three player switch "glitch"?

We have the 3 player patch working with two of us on xbox controllers and the third using the laptop keyboard, however when player one dies, gets petrified, put to sleep, etc... he takes over the player two slot or player three slot. It continues to be aggrivating especially against certain cc heavy mobs. I checked the FAQs and searched seiken posts but didn't see a related post, so im not sure if its patch related. Sorry for any repost of issues <3.

I'm pretty sure these bugs are patch related, and not emulator related. You have to consider that it probably hasn't tested thoroughly in other issues. Besides, if you do the proper research, you'll find that these bugs have been there for a while.
