But you can't burn them to CD or put them on an iPod. At least, I haven't heard of any app that can do that.

You can just write them directly to either vorbis, mp3 or wav with the winamp disk writer pluegin, and even burn them with it.

Come on people, work with me here.

If you want to make your own video game music and burn it to CD or listen to it, most people will not know about SNESAmp and Super Jukebox. The majority of people do understand mp3 and have players that will handle them.

Just tell me where I can give them away, or who wants them.

Sheesh.

People dont want to download 160kbit mp3's encoded spc's, if we really want streams instead of making them ourselves then we want flac (or any other lossless format) so we can burn/encode/hear them in perfect quality.

I'll have to look up this flac thing. Sounds like a good idea.

160 doesnt lose any audible quality, if anything it sounds a little better than the Super NES itself because the Mhz is highter than what super nintendo usually puts out.

I'm not trying to make them perfect. I just want people that have fond memories playing Super NES games to be able to enjoy that same feeling they remember back then.

Like me for instance. I started doing this because I wanted to remember Secret of Mana.

Ok, now they're varible bitrate from 32 to 320. I'm still keeping the 4100Mhz though, because it sounds fine as it is.

That would be 44.1 KHz, not 4100 MHz. Hell, even DVD Audio is only 96 KHz.

Meh, I gave up converting SPCs a long time ago. There are far easier methods, that end up sounding better anyway... Although SPCs will always take less space.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.
