Lemme say a couple of words; Holy crap! This is awesome! It took two and a half years, but it was worth the wait. So patience really IS a virtue! Keep up the good work guys! 1.40 is only the beginning.

ZSNES emu for the Nintendo DS! Come on guys make it happen! We can DO THIS!!!!
isamu, did you look at the readme? It said:

Q: Can you make a Mac/PocketPC/PS2/whatever port?
A: Since ZSNES is written in assembly, ports to any systems that are not 100% x86 compatible are impossible. For x86 compatible machines, such as the XBox, it is still difficult. Try Snes9x for other systems.

That includes DS!
Even if you were to port Snes9X to the DS, you still need a 1GHz processor for it to work properly. Also, IIRC, it has 4MB RAM, Snes9X needs more than that, I believe.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

Belated Thank you Zsnes Team and volunteers (well, they all are part of the Zsnes team, but just in case I was misunderstood), for this wonderful piece of art and ingenuity. I take my hat at you (I would if I had a hat).

"* - Fixes for video code errors, such as those that occured when alt-tabbing in fullscreen, MMX interpolation fixes, and blitter fixes. [pagefault, zsKnight]"
"- S-DD1 Emulation:
Data Retrieval: The Dumper, Dark Force, zsKnight, Gary Henderson..."

Seeing that makes this version extra special to me.

Thanks for the Christmas gift, ZSNES team!

Really great to see an official new version coming available. Not doing much with emu's these days but this will make me come back to it pry :P Great to see that this great piece of software is still the best in snes-emulation and keeping that topplace. Tnx.

zsKnight hasn't done anything with zsnes since he left, before the release of 1.337.

Yeah, I know. I was around when he expressed the news of his father's death, and his resignation from being an active part of the emulation community. I'm just glad that he's still around and still taking part in ZSNES' development.

zsKnight hasn't worked on ZSNES since his father's death. All the quotes of what he did is from before his father's death.

Ah, I see. That's a bit disappointing to hear, but nonetheless this new official release is nothing short from outstanding.

Wow.. Fantastic release!! 1.40 is finally out.:) Well I can't wait to try it out when I get back home to Edmonton. All I have with me is my P120 laptop.. which I could never get to play Zsnes at full speed.

Again, fantastic job Zsnes team. :D

How is it that Nach isn't even listed as a contributer on the site, let alone a developer?

"update:

Nach is now an official ZSNES developer."

It's in the August 11, 2003 update. That side bar thing hasn't been updated in ages.
Everything I say is a lie.
