Awesome... :)
Why not putting it on the main site, though ?
Would avoid more v1.41 bug reports...

Awesome. I've been enjoying ZSNES for years now, and it just seems to be getting better and better. All I need now is to get an SNES controller. :D

You guys rule! Thanks for the new version. So far it works great.

Out of curiosity what is the reason for porting stuff from ASM to C? I know ASM is usually faster but C is easier to work with (and portable) so did I just answer my own question?

Save state

Post by zhong881209 »

The new zsnesw v1.41 win32 version, the save state can only open at 1 place only, not same as before (like the snesw at c:\zsnesw can only load the state at the same place, cant load state at c:\zsnesw\ff5 when I load games at c:\zsnesw\ff5 .) that mean all the games and the save state need to be in the same place to work. I better like can every games got it's own folder. Can you all understand? If can't, see back what zsnesw change the save state in the new version.

There's a forum for that. And please search for similar threads.

Sorry... for some reason I can't seem to compile.

Code: Select all

StubbornAesthetics:/home/andrew/rpmcreation/WIP/zsnes-1.42/src # make
gcc -pipe -I. -Wall -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include -D__LINUX__ -I/usr/include/SDL -D_REENTRANT -D__OPENGL__ -O3 -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -fexpensive-optimizations -s -march=pentiumpro -o chips/dsp1emu.o -c chips/dsp1emu.c
In file included from chips/dsp1emu.c:27:
gblhdr.h:85:27: GL/gl.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [chips/dsp1emu.o] Error 1
StubbornAesthetics:/home/andrew/rpmcreation/WIP/zsnes-1.42/src #
Any suggestions?

how could we ever repay Nachs and Pagefault for their tireless contribution to this outrageously fantastic emulator? You guys are so awesome and my appreciation to you knows no bounds!

Give them a donation. They will appreciate money more than words.
