Surely you meant ToP, not SO.
And of course a patch for ToP SNES won't work for ToP GBA.

Note: besides, ToP GBA sucks. Stick to the SNES and PSX versions.

You are referring to Star Ocean: Blue Sphere for the Gameboy Color? No, it is not yet translated. There is no GBA version of any Star Ocean game to my knowledge.
Everything I say is a lie.

You mean Star Ocean: Blue Sphere (or something like that)?
If you are looking for a translation, you know the drill.

Sadly, ToP GBA is probably the only one that actually has a chance at being released over here, now, seeing as how Nintendo seemingly might do as they did with ToS GC...

For TOP to come to america must scenes have to be changed completely. No more Arche's wet dreams with Cless and not more Klarck's perveted comments.

"Most Scenes" wouldn't have to be "completely" changed, as there were only a couple of scenes/bits of dialouge that would be considered risky for American audiences.

Aeon Genesis is translating Blue Sphere, but are at a standstill until they get an actual translator.

What makes the GBA version so inferior?
I suppose the sound isn't as good... I doubt the GBA has time to software mix 8 channels.

Especially when it's actually 16 channels.
The snes could do 8, but they used soft mixing to boost that to 16; check the sound test menu.

The gba cons imho:
- Screen resolution.
- Music and overall sound effects.
The SNES + dejap patch will always be better than any gba US version. And when it eventually gets out, the PSX + phantasian productions patch will own everything.

I second that, but thinking about, the only GBA version advantage is that you can be anywhere while you play. :)

PS: I'm waiting PSX translation as well. Cless, Klarth, Orphis and co, please~!

Slow Motion 'CAN' be good... Just play games like Matrix or Max Payne on Xbox and you'll see...Although I guess your right, with RPG's it would just suck ass.

Note that all that it's used there for dramatic effect, not because of hardware shortcomings.
