It's done when it's done. Go play the PSX version in the mean time.

You're mistaken. The load times are VERY close the cartridge. I timed them myself using both my PSX and my copier. The loads time difference is one or two seconds at most. Depending on the scene, there is NO difference.
That's just a ridiculously lousy reason to not play an already officially English translated game and instead pester someone else to waste time doing a game that has already been done.
And I've got news for you. To my knowledge current as of a few months ago. NO ONE is working on Tactics Ogre at present time. Not DeJap, and not LordTech.

I wasn't too far off with my own translation.. but the 'atashi' confused me. I thought that me/my etc. == watashi.

Ah, thanks. Makes sense, since you're the one who said it.

The only part I didn't understand was 'heta da'.

Wasn't it Motoko from Love Hina who feels too masculine to say 'atashi', and almost blows up when trying to feminize her speech ?
True. I just checked and she does say that.

It's a tactical RPG in the vein of Final Fantasy Tactics that's set in the Ogre Battle universe. Incidentally, Ogre Battle and Tactics Ogre were headed by Yasumi Matsuno who went on to work on Final Fantasy Tactics (which explains a lot of the similarities between TO and FFT). Tactics Ogre is a very fun game, though it doesn't have as deep of a character customization system as FFT. It makes up for it, though, by having (in my opinion) a better story.
Toot toot Sonic Warrior, deep in space and time
Toot toot Sonic Warrior, forever in your mind
Nothing can survive the will to stay alive
'cause if you try, you can do anything

Tactics Ogre also features music from Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata (who still used their old nicks, YmoH.S and REZON).
Just start a new game and read the names during the intro... The whole team went to work on FFT.
I personally did not like FF:T, however, that may have been because at the time I used bleem and a 400 mhz machine to run it, so perhaps my judgement was skewed by the aweful emulation provided. Things looked like shit, and ran like ass, thats all I remember of it, random freezes made trying to get the story incredibly hard to do. I gave up after the first 2 battles. s long as TO runs better and wont loose me, Im willing to give it a shot, but I'm afraid Im not willing to pick up FF:T for quite a long time still.
... Ever take a look at the Earthbound ROM? I SWEAR THE PROGRAMMERS WERE ON CRACK WHEN THEY DID IT! JUST LOOK AT IT!
