Need alot of help running v1.42

I deleted my ZSNES because it was really old. I decided to got 1.42 but everytime I download it I only get this file that I have to open with something and it dosnt work with roms. Can someone plz help me??? There's tons of game I wanna play right now.

It's 'a lot' and we'll need more info than this.


Edit - I'm also assuming you're smart enough to use a RAR file.
