Coice of System Tray or Taskbar or Both?

Post by Fieryblizzard »

I think it would be awesome if there was support for ZSNES to run or be minimized to the system tray, similar to the way winamp works...

Why would you want to keep an emulator running constantly in the system tray? Just minimize it. If you have so much shit open that you can't afford to sacrifice the taskbar room, maybe you should just close it, considering you're evidently too busy to be playing games?

Yeah and you can always just save then go back to it later, it really isn't that big of a deal.

because this way, if the boss walks into my cube, I can minimize to tray and not worry about losing where I was in the game!

Just use "auto state save/load"

That way you can just quit Zsnes without saving. Then, when you restart Zsnes and reload your ROM, and it will pick up where it left off automagically.

I think there're programs that can do that with taskbar entries. I don't remember any names though; never needed that feature. :?

You missed my point:

I'm not telling you what you do is wrong - just saying that we won't add features to prevent you getting caught.

If, as you say, you finished a day's workload before playing, surely you have nothing to fear anyway...
