Star Ocean Trouble

Hi,
When I try to load Star Ocean, I get a black screen in ZSNES (1.40) and nothing else. I do have the graphics pack in the correct subdirectory to where the rom is located, and it still doens't work. I swear that it worked in an earlier version of ZSNES, but doens't work now. Can anyone provide some assistance?

First, update your ZSNES version to 1.42.
Second, the graphics packs aren't needed anymore.
Third, make sure that your rom image is good by scanning it with NSRT.

Hmmm... maybe your ZSNES 1.40 was an April Fool's Day version? Do still take the other suggestions in this thread, though.

No, -_pentium5.1_- was trying to say that the ZSnes v1.40 he was using might have been an April Fool's Day version.
