Well... Not for me. Try again, I don't think it always works, more or less randomly... I think I remember it would sometimes work right with the old verions too... Ooor maybe we're not using the exact same ROM, and this bug has been fixed with a hack.

Have you ever tried it with the current WIP? It is already fixed.
Eh? Really... then please feel free to explain. It seems to show and then disappear between versions... and I haven't really figured out what the actual problem is though...
Okay, first, yes my computer sucks ass. Now, to the question. V. 1.42 runs just dandy with my monitor in 24bit color mode. The latest WIP will only run in either 16 or 32 bit. I dont have 32 bit as an option thanks to the data provided in my first sentence. I REALLY don't want to have to switch to 16bit every time I play ROMs. Is there some reason why the WIP won't run in 24bit mode but 1.42 will? Are all future builds of ZSNES going to be this way? If so, that sucks because I'll be stuck using 1.42 until I can afford a new rig, which won't be any time soon.

Yeah, it's still showing up for me too :/
Screenshot from latest WIP :
Probably offset-per-tile related...
(Yes, I stole that from the POE news thread, sue me :P )
W would probably just accuse Lavos of hiding Weapons of Mass Destruction an then throw Lavos in Abu Ghraib.
So, I guess Condoleeza Rice would take its place. Or maybe the other way around.
W 1 - 0 Lavos

HA! Thats awesome! Oh, and about the 32bit color thing. I finally broke down and ordered a new computer. Now maybe I'll be able to play something other than just emulators. Not that I will, but I can.
For anyone interested, I have still been maintaining a doc on how to compile ZSNESw for novices. Should be pretty easy for any computer literate person now.

comrade wrote:What is ZSNES WIP? Is it some kind of MOD? You have no description on your page, just download links!
Work in Progress. Beta builds if you wish. WIPs aren't official releases. There have been 19 WIP builds/releases since the 1.42 official release. WIPs have have numerous fixes and additions that ultimately get pooled together for an official release.

No, I am not.

comrade wrote:So how and why do ZSNES WIP fixes/changes get into the official ZSNES branch? Why is there such segregation? Why don't both teams work together?
there is only one team, and they are currently working on WIP releases.
Does [Kevin] Smith masturbate with steel wool too?
