Project update

Post by pagefault »

I have decided to work on ZSNES a bit again so I am planning to release parts of the new emulation core. This will be done in the WIP's also it will include an auto-update utility so you can get the latest build painlessly.

Yeah, sounds cool. Keep up the good work pf.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Does this mean better timing and SA-1?

For the timing yes, IIRC the communication/timing of the SA-1 and some other special chips will be rewritten later. At least it was going to be this way the last time, before Pagefault suffered the HD crash, but I can be wrong.

It sounds like a joke to me but who knows. I'd kind of like to know too.

Oh, how disappointing. I was hoping for some news.

Unfortunately, I tend to notice that many of pagefault's big ideas never come to full fruition, or at least it seems that way. :( For example, he still hasn't released his new GTK GUI yet, AFAIK. The main reason why I support Qt is because it's preferred by Nach, who is the most active ZSNES developer.
