Wasn't there another game-specific filter or was the Top Gear 3000 one the only one? :?
PS: ThunderClaw once found a filter which triggers when you say a racist term against asians.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

That would've been F1-ROC, and the joke was that it wasn't TG3K, but was close enough.

I'm not sure how the filter got started. I think JB or Mina set it up years ago when the bitching abou TG3K not working started.

My favorite filter of days gone by was Tactics Ogre -> Tactical Orgy. I don't remember why Tactics Ogre got filtered, though.

Because of the flood of people asking for a translation of said game.

It's known, I didn't modify the save state code for DSP-4 yet, it's on my todo list.

That filter should come back.
Agreed.

Oh, and I'll volunteer to write a new filter that cannot be tricked by using extra spaces, BBCode, or non-ascii chars. That could be fun.

Yes, but you didn't cover the word that triggers it.

Hmm... of course, it only works for phrase filters, not single word filters.

What triggers the filters for Snes9x and NSRT? I've tried every logical misspelling that I could imagine for Snes9x, but I never found the "correct" wrong way.

And while you're at it, please consider adding "The Zsnes" ( ) as a trigger

That would be great. People say that about as much as "zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator)", so the filter would be used twice as often. :P

And if "rom" or "roms" are going to be filtered, I think it should only filter when they are written in lowercase, so only the correct way to write it would be accepted.

ok, well I don't know if it's been mentioned already in this thread, but 2 player versus locked up on me at the start line of the race when I tried to play it with someone online, and 2 player championship desynced on us before we could even start the first race.
EDIT: feb 28 wip, we both have same rom from same rom site with ok checksums and everything, etc. I just got done playing SSF2 and Killer Instinct with him for hours on zsnes 1.36
