Using Windows 7 64 bits, Intel Core i7 920 , Radeon HD 4850 , 6GB of RAM and Direct X 11.

It's asking me for a d3dx9_43.dll even on XP compatibility mode just like the unrelated Saturn emulator SSF.

So install the latest twice-annual DX9 update.
God damn, why does MS not use version numbers right?

I wonder why their windows update didn't do that for me. Oh well then I will install them manually... Anyway thanks.

dxwebsetup.exe is indispensable. Though for me installing new Steam games tends to update Direct X all the time.

I knew that it was a problem with Direct 3D 9 but I thought I got it covered by having Direct X 11 and now that I remember I think that I asked the same stupid question here long time ago and got the same answer... Anyway everything is working right both VBA-M and SSF.

Because it doesn't increment the version. So it's the "same" DX9. Just 6 months newer and with changes made.

The changelog was so people who were Jap/French/whatever can load their weird filename loaded ROMs without it fucking up on them.

The forum says some MyBB SQL error message so I'm asking here.

With XAudio2 I experience crackle in audio when playing GBC titles, with OpenAL (Set to not use a generic implementation) I get stuttering audio and poor frame rates unless I turn off Sync Game to Audio in which case I just get really slow audio, with DirectSound 8 I get periodic periods of heavy crackling audio. Frame buffer for OpenAL and XAudio 2 is at the default 4 frames, I did try 5 frame setting with no apparent improvement.

The OpenAL driver/software is installed from the Creative website and I'm using the latest official Auzentech drivers for my sound card.

How do I improve audio? None of these problems exist with Gambatte.

Installing the OpenAL SDK seems to have resolved the OpenAL issue.

You're at the wrong forum.

Sync game to audio cannot be enabled at the same time as auto frame skipping.

the Creative OAL device doesn't adhere to the mixer/buffer configuration anyway.
- Audio Sync + Auto frame skip break frames, causing emulation to drop to as low as 40fps even though enough performance is available to maintain full speed. Use one, or the other, not both. Vsync is not effected, and can be used with either setting.

I never had auto frame skip enabled, that's always been set to "No frame skip". Anyways like I said, installing the OpenAl SDK has 100% resolved any and all issues with using OpenAL in the emulator making it the only decent audio API to use on my system when playing your emulator.
