Happened to stumble on various websites stating that SNESGT Ver 0.230 beta4 has been released; and yet, the bloody links are fake. This - http://gigo.retrogames.com/bbs/c-board. ... ee=972;id= is nothing but BS. What's going on!? i guess that probably your ISP' DNS at fault as:

when i click it, it give me the usual download dialog, thus i download it as normaly..

Yes, I can read Japanese, but no, I followed the link and, even after disabling the bloody IE add-on crap, it doesn't work! And http://gigo.retrogames.com/bbs/file/snesgt0230b4.zip won't load at all. That's what I'm trying to tell. Any links (like on rapidshare) that will load? All I got was this

The BBS on their website doesn't load up for me either. I don't think it's my system since I tried a ton of stuff. Can anyone tell from this log what's going on?

It prints this in the browser window:

Good; I'm not crazy after all. Someone else has the same IE issue! Any solutions perhaps (and no, I am not switching over for Firefox/Opera/etc). Now, I remember a long time ago, I used to be able to get to that link just fine, but for some frikin' stupid reason, it doesn't work. I've tried looking for spyware/malware/adware/viruses/trojans, disabled all IE add-ons and did that work? No! Now, I'm not trying to get anyone mad; I'm just trying to get this issue resolved. It was never my intention to piss you guys off at all; what I'm doing is figuring out why it works for some and not for others who use the exact same IE.

edit 2:41PM - odd...just went to http://snesemu.black-ship.net/ and they must've fixed a broken link.

It's not just IE for me, it does it in Firefox too. On every single system I own. Does it on my Vista desktop, laptop and my XP machine. I even ripped out my router and tried directly connecting it.

Rashidi and grinvader, this is not an issue with neo or powerspike's setups.

This happens to me on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Vista, Linux and OS X; on IE6, IE7, Firefox 2, Firefox 3 and Safari; and it happens on three separate ISPs (two I've had at home, one I have at work). It also happens when I try and go through Google Translate and Babelfish.

In truth, about one in ten times I try, the site loads. No, not back-to-back refreshing, that never works. I mean every tenth day I try it will load.

There's something seriously wrong with the server's scripts.

Anyway, to get the WIPs, I grab the link from the most recent Google cache and slightly alter it. He's pretty consistent with file names. Eg it has b3 now, so I'd use:

Which seems to be working fine here.

EDIT: the link does work, you have to copy and paste it to avoid the anti-offsite linking script.

You're lucky you can at least get it to load one in ten times byuu. I can never get the board to load at all. The funny thing is it used to load up fine for me a few years ago.

- Many minor bugs are fixed.
- Improved emulation accuracy.

I now use Firefox (and I'm glad I do) and no longer have to worry about the SnesGT website being retarded. Oh, and beta5 is great!

I emailed the site admin and they fixed it for me. It has nothing to do with you changing to firefox. Like byuu said it was a problem with their scripts. But yeah beta 5 is awesome. I'm starting to like it a bit more then SNES9x and ZSNES for gaming on my slower computer.
