Announce new emulators, discuss which games run best under each emulator, and much much more.

Good emu news site?

Post by I.S.T. »

Lately the one I've been going to(Emulation64.com) has completely and totally died.

I'm looking for a general emulation news site, one that covers a bit of everything.

Here are my favorites: removed link , http://www.e-lation.net/site/index.php , http://www.emudreams.pl/ , http://www.emulation9.com/ , http://www.emulatronia.com/ .

-EDIT- Removed link to that good emulation site, just because it contains roms, but it was good, really.

Zophar has been back up for almost a month now... No time machine necessary :D

Even then its still out of date >.<

I go to foreign language sites like AEP-Emulation (German), and Emudreams (Polish)

Ironically, those are more up to date than the common English sites.

Probably. That site that had to be removed due to ROM hosting is insanely up to date.

Hi,

I mostly visit emunova.net (french), emu-france.com(french), emu-land.net (russian) and aep-emu.de (german). These are the most fast and heavily updated sites I've seen. If one releases an emulator it'll be listed there just within a few hours  . Good to see Zophar getting back up again. It also seems to get updated very fast too now.

stay safe,

Yes, Zophar seems to update a bit more frequently now. Maybe I should visit more often.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. The fact that it abruptly revived after nearly two years of inactivity was unusual.

They don't even have Kega or Regen listed on that site.

http://www.emu-france.com/?page=news - best news site ever (if you understand French)
There's another use for this site - it's the fastest mirror for MAME Plus :)
(200x faster than the homepage and its awfully slow mirrors)

http://forums.ngemu.com/emulation-news-submissions/ - check the emu news thread for the latest stuff

In case anyone is curious, they've listed the last several Regen submissions, so someone is obviously watching this place, spitesmind or a few other sites.

To jayz299:

If Grin finds out you will be banned or Burninated very soon. Not to mention Deathlike 2 or Nash among the people who have administrative accounts.
